Frances E. Heckman, 97, of Reading, passed April 4, 2014 in the Manor of Market Square.

She was the widow of George N. Heckman.

Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late George M. and Bessie (Yeager) Yocom.

She was a graduate of Reading High School of 1934 and Hoffman Business School.

She is survived by a son, George N. Heckman, Jr. of Reading and a daughter, Susan E. (Heckman) Elinsky of Deposit, NY, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Service will be held Tuesday at 1:30 PM in Henninger Funeral Home, 229 N. 5th St., Reading. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:30 PM prior to the service.
