David Prater, 57, of Reading, passed May 11th in his residence.
He was the husband of Jean (Steele) Prater.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of Virginia Prater.
He lasted worked for Prospectus Berco as a Resident Advisor.
He is also survived by brothers, Michael Prater husband of Aline Prater, Ivory Prater husband of Tricia Prater, and James Prater; sisters, Debra Prater, Geraldine Prater, and Karlene Morgan; stepson, Corey Steele; stepdaughter, Lisa Steele; 4 nephews, 11 nieces, 8 great nieces, and 14great nephews. There are also 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 AM in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc.
Family will receive friends from 10 AM to the time of service.
Interment is private.
