Obituary for Ruth E. Burkart

Ruth E. Burkart, of Wyomissing Hills, passed June 23, 2015 in Kingsport, Tennessee.

She was the widow of George L. Burkart who passed in 2006.

Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late Harry A. and Ella A. (Kauffman) Fisher.

She was a graduate of Reading High School and was a member of First United Church of Christ, Reading.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol A. Burkart, son in law, Anthony Russo and a grandson, Anthony B. Russo.

Services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc., 229 N. 5th St., Reading. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Laureldale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or The Alzheimer’s Association.
