Helen A. Krott, 105, passed August 4, 2015 in the Topton Lutheran Home.

Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of Frederick W. and Emma (Post) Krott.

Helen was the owner of Helen’s Beauty Shop on North 6th St., Reading for 55 years, retiring in 1988.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading where she taught Sunday School and enjoyed playing the piano.

Helen enjoyed traveling extensively and had a special love for Ocean City, NJ.

She is survived by nieces, Barbara Bostic and Emma Wilkes and a nephew, Christopher Drayer, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 10 AM in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc., 229 N. 5th St., Reading. A viewing will be held from 9 AM to 10 AM. Interment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Reading.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
