Adele  M.   Huyett
Adele Miriam Huyett born October 7, 1921 in Birdsboro, PA passed away peacefully on April 18, 2016 at Berks Heim Nursing home where she had been a resident since 2011. She was the daughter of Luther and Dorothy (Drenkel) Huyett of Birdsboro, PA. She was a graduate of Birdsboro High, class of 1939 and McCann School of Business. Adele worked for several years as a secretary at the Birdsboro Steel Foundry and Machine Company and retired after serving many years as Director of Volunteer Services at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was a life-long advocate of Boys Town in Omaha Nebraska. Adele enjoyed reading and her visits with her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brother Donald L. Huyett, nephew Ted L. Huyett and niece Staci L. Huyett. Adele was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Reading, PA. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 12 Noon in Birdsboro Cemetery.
