Abner Salon of Marlton, New Jersey passed away on Monday May 23, 2016. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Salon.

Salon was the former owner of Salon's Department Store and Tots N Doodads both located in West Reading, Pa.

He was born April 6, 1920. He attended West Reading High School and graduated from Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, Pa.

He served in the armed services during WWII. While living in Reading, he was a proud Rotarian and Mason.

Salon is survived by his two daughters, Joy, wife of Gordon Schafer and Lynne, wife of Andrew Levin; son, Robert A., husband of Sally Salon and

grandfather of Jeremy, husband of Erica Schafer, Jill, wife of Josh Kroll, Rebecca, wife of Josh Ellstein, Alec, husband of Brooke Levin, Max B. Salon and Brooke H. Salon.

He is also survived by three great grandchildren, Dylan and Graham Schafer and Alexandra Kroll.

Services and burial will be held graveside in Kesher Zion Cemetery, Cumru Township on Wednesday May 25, 2016 at 2 p.m.
