Obituary for John P. Thomas Jr.

John P. Thomas Jr., also known as

"Buggy," 51, of Reading, passed away in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center on Saturday, June 11. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John P. Thomas Sr. and the late Janet (Yeager) Thomas Anderson.

John served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia M. (Wloczewski)

Thomas. They were married on May 28, 2005 and celebrated eleven years of marriage.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three sisters: Kate Peires and her husband, Michael; Alline Smith; and Cheryl Franckowiak, all of Reading; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved cats, Boots and Emily.

He had been employed by Ehrlich Pest Control,

Wyomissing School District and lastly, Antietam School District, Reading.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor and

generous spirit.

Private visitation will be held for immediate family.
