Condolence: Although there has been no contact in the past few years Phyllis and I grew up together in New York and have been friends since 1939. I was shocked to hear of her passing and that of Norman and Bruce also. She was my first and closest friend when I first came to the US from Germany and we lived in the same apartment house for many years, our families knowing each other for many years also. My father was Phyllis' doctor.. I am so sad to hear that she has died. I am hoping that someone in the family will contact me, like her cousin in California, Marlene Peisakoff who was also a close friend of many years. I regret having lost contact. I send my deepest sympathy to her remaining family.
