Obituary for Edna M. Hoy

Edna M. Hoy, 87, of Reading, passed August 20th in Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late Franklin J. and Florence (Kramer) Hoy.

She was the longtime companion of the late Ned Siegfried.

Edna worked at Berkshire Knitting, Vanity Fair and Grafika.

She is survived by a brother, Richard Hoy, husband of Gwendolyn of Muhlenberg; sister, Dorothy wife of Robert McClatchie of West Lawn; nieces, Patricia I. Ignatosky, Karen Mengel, and Marie Hoy; nephews, Dennis McClatchie, Douglass McClatchie, Richard Hoy and David Hoy. She is also survived by her beloved cats, Blackie and Bela. She was pre-deceased by a brother, William Hoy and a nephew Michael Hoy.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 AM in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc., 229 N. 5th St. Reading. Viewing will be held from 9 AM to 10 AM. Interment will follow service in Forest Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Berks County.
