James Claiborne, 78, of Reading, passed September 23, 2016 in Reading Hospital.

He was born in Petersburg, Virginia.

He had worked for Penn Optical and also for the City of Reading, Public Works.

He is survived by his fiancée, Cindy M. Lutz, daughters, Tanya and Jessica Rhoades, and 7 Grandchildren.
