Obituary for Yukiko Steffy (Teramura)

Yukiko Teramura Steffy, 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 19th at the Pocopson Nursing Home in West Chester, PA. Born on July 8, 1932, she is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Rodney E. Steffy. Survivors include her 2 sons, John and Rodney Jr., and 4 grandchildren, Jennifer, Paul, Conner, and Tanner.

Yukiko was born in Osaka Japan and lived for extended periods of time in California, Hawaii, Virginia and North Carolina. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards with family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren.

Memorial services are scheduled for Friday at 10:30 AM in Henninger Funeral Home, 229 N. 5th St., Reading. Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects from 9:30 to the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Pocopson Nursing Home in West Chester, PA.
