bake of the knob

We went up there so many times with our coolers full and ready to hike all the way up, the last time we went Scotty had a load on and fell a few times but kept on truckin, we saw a young lady there that looked like she was ready to jump, we talked to her for a hour and shared our beer, we lightened her load. Scott had a way with the ladies......I will always cherish my memories of my Dearest Friend, I allways told him if I should marry for a 3rd time I wanted him to walk me down to give me away. Old high wide and handsome, slip rock will live on in my heart forever and a day. Today I really feel him watching over me. He was by my side everyday for at least a year after my parents death. I had stored furniture at the spring water place, one night I convinced him my Mom had money stashed, he and I started tearing things up, he looked over and yelled at me because I was tearing apart someone elses stuff....
