Obituary for Jan D. Haring

Jan D. Haring, 80, of Reading, passed April 12th in the Lebanon VA Medical Center.

Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late J. Stuart and Ruth N. (Quimby) Haring.

He was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School in 1953.

Jan worked for Gilbert Assoc., Reading for more than 20 years.

He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale and a member of Masonic Lodge #62 F&A.M.

He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1958 to 1960.

He is survived by daughters, Kathy L. Isaac of Reading and Karen L. Brooksby of Charlotte, North Carolina; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Lisa A. Burns.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 3 PM in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc., 229 N. 5th St. Reading. Masonic Lodge #62 Funeral Service will begin at 2:45 PM. Viewing will be from 2 PM to the time of services. Interment will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Please leave condolences online at www.henningerfuneralhome.com
