Evelyn “Evie” Anne (Ackerman) Snyder, 79, formerly of Fleetwood, PA, passed February 15th in Augusta, GA.
She was the widow of William R. Snyder who passed July 8, 2010.
Born in Slatington, PA, she was the daughter of Paul and Evelyn (Hunt) Ackerman. She was one of seven in her family.
She graduated from Easton High School in 1955.
She married July 13, 1957 to William R. Snyder.
Evie enjoyed watching sports, music, and being with her family.
Evie was the office manager at Accuaire Instruments Inc., Reading for 20 years until her retirement.
She is survived by a son, Dr. Ronald D. Snyder of New Jersey; daughters, Lori A. Henry of Hawaii and Jennifer L. Whitaker of Georgia; 3 grandchildren, Lily Snyder, William Snyder and Natalie Whitaker; sisters, Marilyn Yankovich, Maryellen Einfalt and Joan Stueber; and brother, William Ackerman.
Funeral Services will be held February 21, 2017 in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc., Reading.
Viewings will be February 21 at 6:00-8:00pm and February 22 at 11:00am.
Interment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery.
