As a member of our spiritual community, Ted always looked out for the people who didn't have it easy. He would phone my sister, who didn't have a car, to make sure she had a ride if she wanted to attend an event. He always asked me how she was doing. He cared. I remember when he was cooking for Adi Da on Cape Cod. He said he had gotten the strong impression that he should be learning about the Internet and make that his life's work. He asked me what I thought. I agreed that he should absolutely do it. I am so glad that he did. He was always available for advice about what he knew best, and he was always humorous, patient, and compassionate with the shortcomings of others. I know he knows how loved he was and is.
